西蒙内·伊昂纳内里

 

西蒙内·伊昂纳内里(Simone Iannarelli)是他这一辈人中最好的吉他演奏家和作曲家之一,被评论界和音乐家所广泛认可。知名的作曲家卡洛·多明尼康尼(Carlo Domeniconi)这么评论他的《前奏曲三》(Trois Preludes):”……非常优美的音乐,给吉他注入了全新的色彩和视野。史提夫·马许(Steve Marsh)在《古典吉他(Classical Guitar)》杂志中这么说:“ 这是一位真正杰出的当代吉他音乐的作曲家”。
西蒙内先生1970年出生于罗马。他跟随马西莫(Massimo Delle Cese)修习了古典吉他。他从拉奎拉的A.Casella音乐学院毕业,并收获了毕业生的最高荣誉奖项。之后,西蒙内搬至巴黎,以便跟随作曲家、编曲人和吉他演奏家罗兰·迪安斯( Roland Dyens )学习。

他已经发表了超过30支作品,包括了吉他独奏、吉他二重奏、吉他和长笛、吉他和弦乐四重奏还有其他室内乐团;并在加拿大、美国和意大利和Les Productions d’Oz、Guitar Solo Publication、Sinfonica、Bérben、Carish等音乐出版机构合作。他的音乐作品已经被国际知名的演奏者在世界范围内演绎、录制并播出。
西蒙内先生除了作为一名作曲家,他还经常参与音乐会中的吉他演奏,主要集中在他自己作曲的演绎上。他已经在法国、美国、加拿大、新西兰、西班牙、英格兰、意大利、荷兰、瑞士、捷克共和国、匈牙利、波兰、乌拉圭、智利和墨西哥演出过。

在2004年,他发表了自己的首张CD《Rue De La Folie Regnault》,里面的曲目都是由他自己谱曲和演奏的(厂牌为Guitart)。他的新CD《海滩天堂(Playa Paraiso)》,由墨西哥厂牌Urtext Digital Classic出版。

在2005年9月,西蒙内先生获得了由亚历山大市(Città di Alessandria)国际吉他大赛组委会颁发的金色吉他奖(Chitarra d’oro)以表彰他的作曲水品。

在2014年7月他的佩特雷尔协奏曲(Concerto de Petrer)由吉他和交响管乐团在西班牙首次公演。

西蒙内先生同样醉心于教学,他现在是科利马大学艺术学院(位于墨西哥)的古典吉他教授。

Alberto Cuellar 老多 –       非常荣幸中国吉他们Jitamen.com有这次机会可以和你交流,并向中国的吉他演奏者们介绍你成功的吉他作曲家和吉他演奏家的职业经历。

-当翻阅你的作品时,我们经常能看到一些有韵味的名字,像是“意大利咖啡”“科利马肖像”“给比阿特丽斯的的歌””Itzel和Citlali“……你能为我们介绍一下这些标题背后的典故么?他们为什么这么重要,以及曲子如何反应了这些名称?

伊昂纳内里 Simone Iannarelli –              许多曲目标题的灵感都来自我生活或者生活过地方的文化(意大利、法国、墨西哥),或者受到我爱的人影响。比如说“科利马肖像”是关于墨西哥科利马的风景还有文化的,我在那里生活了14年(所以……才会有标题是关于两只小狗跳舞,因为那是这个地方的史前符号;或者有关块茎蔬菜(Tubero),讲的是一个男人爬上棕榈树采集一种特别的饮料叫Tuba; Itzel和Citlali是我好朋友女儿的名字,在纳瓦特尔语中是夕阳的光芒和星星的意思;我的吉他二重奏”Frida Kalho的七幅画“是对这些著名墨西哥女画家的致敬)。
还有12首小品描绘的是“罗马的影像”,一些关于我出生城市的小景观。
意大利咖啡则是不同的概念,当时的想法是找到一个像我正要谱的曲一样的东西——有些明快的感觉,但又要是一种在意大利和其他地方有仪式感的东西。
有些时候,曲目的灵感也可能来自于音乐史上的标志性人物(向Keith Jarrett/Variazioni致敬,怀念Rachmaninoff)。
-当你开始创作新的吉他曲目时,你追求的音乐元素都有哪些?你能谈谈你的音乐创作过程么?

作为一个作曲家和吉他演奏者,我觉得能够充分了解乐器的特点这是一个极大的优势;如果只会创作原有的方法会是一个限制。关于我的创作过程,那是自然要在自己的风格中筛选所有外部和内部的影响;我不喜欢在匆忙中创作、比较喜欢等,一直到我百分百确定了我的这首曲子要怎样的和谐氛围还有怎样的架构,即使曲目较为短小也会这么做;我相信作曲家需要成为艺术家,所以乐器要为音乐中的想法服务而不是反其道而行。

 

 

– 我们也对你对于肖邦前奏曲Op.28 No15.的改编有所了解。从部分吉他手的角度上来说,在过去肖邦是不适合用吉他演奏的,而肖邦曲目的改编也是没有意义的,因为他们觉得肖邦的作品只非常适合钢琴这种响度来演绎。但是你进行了改编,所以大概你的方法有所不同?

当然关于是否应该改编如此适合一种乐器的乐曲总是有不同意见;我尊重任何想法,但我觉得改编这种艺术形式是非常普遍的;而关于肖邦的作品,我们知道泰雷加(Tarrega)就曾对其进行过改编,还有其他人也做过;我觉得我的改编有一点自己的“任性“……我只想弹奏一曲我当时非常热爱的曲目。

 

-作为一名作曲家同时是一位吉他演奏家,你一定对于吉他的潜力、其响度和音质的可能性有清晰的认识。你怎样看待吉他乐器的?哪些是吉他区别于其他乐器的主要特点?
在协奏曲音乐中,吉他常常被剥离,这造成一定程度上吉他曲目的短缺,但是吉他手这种自由或者”无政府“状态在将来同时是一种优势,因为其让我感觉吉他非常年轻,而不是和传统拴在一起。不同风格下的每一个吉他手或者作曲者都和圈里的其他人有联系;而这创造了出色的结果。

 

– 在中国也有一个庞大的古典吉他世界,其在这片土地啊上已经发展了多年。但是在中国之外西方的专业吉他手或者作曲家可能并不是很了解它。西蒙内先生对中国的吉他手、吉他教学和吉他圈子有所了解么?

我知道一些标志性的演奏家,像是杨雪霏、王雅梦、苏萌等,我还听说过陈教授的学校。
我所有去过中国的朋友都告诉我那里有很棒的支持吉他演奏家的氛围。最近我的一个朋友,墨西哥吉他演奏家摩根西曼(Morgan Szymanski)和中国的吉他演奏家郭玉龙一起弹奏了意大利咖啡的曲目。

我们希望中国的朋友可以对你有更多的了解,也希望不久的将来你可以来中国,我们希望可以在中国见到你、欣赏你的演奏和你的曲目。十分感谢西蒙内能够抽出宝贵时间接受我们的采访!

Alberto Cuellar 老多- It is a pleasure for jitamen.com in China to be able to talk with you and give more information to Chinese guitarists about your successful career as a guitar composer and guitarist.
-We look at the titles on your compositions and we see often some evocative names like “Italian Coffee”, “Retratos de Colima” (Colima Portraits), “Canción para Beatriz” (Song for Beatriz), “Itzel and Citlali” … Can you explain us a bit more about these titles names? in which way are they important and the compositions reflect those titles?

Simone Iannarelli – Several compositions ‘s titles are inspired by the culture of the country where i live or i used to live,(Italy, France ,Mexico) or by the affects and beloved person. Some Example Retratos de Colima is about landscapes, cultural uses of the state of Colima (Mexico) where i live after 14 years(so.. there is a title about the 2 little dogs dancing that are a prehispanic symbol of this region, or about the “Tubero” , a man who climbs the palm trees to recolect a special drink call Tuba. Itzel and Citlali are the daugther ‘s names of a dear friend and in Nahuatl language mean “light of the sunset” and “star”; my guitar duo “Seven paints of Frida Kalho “ is an homage to these famous mexican Paintress.

There are the 12 Short studies “Images of Rome” some Little landscape of my city born;
Italian Coffee has different concept, the idea was to find an ítem like the music i’d want to composed in this case, with a certain ligthness but an important ritual in Italy and several part of the world
Sometimes also it could be a piece for a musical icon that inspired me (Tribute to Keith Jarrett or Variazioni in memory of Rachmaninoff).

 

-When you start a new composition for guitar which are the elements inside the music you are looking for? Can you talk to us a bit about your creative process into your compositions?
As a composer -guitarist i’m sure that it is a great advantage to know very well the characteristics of the instrument; it could be a limitation if we have only an idiomatic approach to composing: About my creative process , i guess it is natural to filter in an own style all the influence from outside and inside; i don’t like to be in hurry, i prefer to wait in order to be pretty sure about the harmony i want and the structure of the piece, which i consider basic including in the little ones ; i believe composer has to be an artisan too and the instrument has to serve the musical idea and not the opposite

 

– We also know about your Chopin Prelude Op.28 No15. arrangement for guitar. For some guitarists in the past Chopin was unplayable for the guitar and the arrangements of his works for the guitar they considered had no meaning due they think Chopin compositions are very much into the piano particular sonority. But you did the arrangement so probably your approach to it is different?

Of course there could be points in favor or not about transcribing a composer so much close to his instrument; i respect any opinion ,i think the art of the transcription was always very common; about Chopin works, we know some transcription by Tarrega himself and so on; i consider in my case this a little ¡”caprice” of mine.. i ’ve just wanted to play a piece that i was so much in love at that period.

 

-As a composer who is also a guitarist probably you have a clear vision about the possibilities of the guitar and the sonorities and sounds that can be created in our instrument. How do you see the guitar instrument? Which are the main features that may make the difference between the guitar and other instruments?.

In the panorama of Concerto music Guitar was often put apart , this has caused some lack in the repertoire but this freedom or “anarchy” of the guitarit is also an advantage for the future,because i feel the guitar very young,not too much bound to the tradition. every guitar player or composer of different área(style) take links each other ; and this are producing outstanding results
-There are a big classical guitar world in China which has been developed since many years ago in this country. But maybe outside China the west professional guitarists and composers don’t know much about it. Does Simone Iannarelli knows something about China guitarists, guitar teaching, and the guitar world here?
I know some of virtuoso exponent like Xuefei Yang,Wang Yameng,Su meng etc, i Heard about the school of professor Chen
All my friend touring in China has told me marvellous things about a fantastic ambiance for the guitarist,
Recently , a friend of mine , Mexican guitarist Morgan Szymanski has played some piece of Italian Coffee with a Chinese luthier guitar (Yulong Guo).
